DIY Shoe Embellishments for the Wedding Party

If you are thinking about DIY wedding projects, embellished shoes are a great place to start. Your wedding day is a special day, so why wear ordinary shoes? Add a bit of decoration to your shoes and you will be sure to start married life on the right (and beautiful) foot.

The rest of the wedding party can join in the fun, too. Here are some fun ways the wedding party can jazz up their shoes.

Jeweled Heels (Bride) – This tutorial will show you how to add rhinestones to the heel of your pumps. You could also do this technique with pearls.

Toe Pop Shoes (Bridesmaids)Green Wedding Shoes shows how to add a pop of color to the toe tips of shoes. Bridesmaids could use the wedding color or a coordinating color to dress up neutral colored shoes.

Glitter Flats (Flower Girl) – Little girls love glitter and sparkle, so why not add some to plain flats for the flower girl? For a classic look, use silver or gold glitter. For a bit of whimsy, use a colorful glitter.

I’m Taken (Groom) – The groom doesn’t have to be left out of the shoe shenanigans. These ‘I’m Taken” decals will make a statement and provide and amusing photo opportunity.

These DIY shoe projects would be fun projects for a girls' night in with your attendants. Embellished shoes can really complete your wedding look – luckily, these DIY projects aren’t too tough to tackle.
