Wooden-t You Love These Items in Your Wedding?

Rustic and woodsy is a favorite popular wedding theme. Who wouldn’t want to feel like a princess in an enchanted forest?

Read on for four ways to add wooden touches to your wedding day.

Ring bearer tree sliceBetterbook shows a unique twist on the traditional ring bearer pillow. By drilling a hole in a wood slice, you can attach the rings using twine. For a bit of a fancier look, you could use ribbon instead.

Guest book – This couple used a slice of a tree as a guest book. After guests sign the wooden coin, the newlyweds can display the piece in their home as a wedding day keepsake.  Be sure to use a permanent marker so the well wishes last for years.

Wood stained flower boxes – For a garden themed wedding with rustic touches, this stained wood flower box does the job. The centerpiece boxes pull double duty by acting as table numbers – brilliant way to free up your wedding budget for other items.

Cake with wood grain – This cake is decorated in the faux bois style (French term for false wood).  The best part is it looks pretty and we’re certain it tastes better than eating a log!

Whether your wedding is rustic or just has a natural theme, these touches of wood will be wonderful additions.
