How to Have a Game Themed Wedding Reception

Rather than going out, do you and your fiancé prefer to stay in and challenge each other to board games? Share your love of friendly competition by adding touches of games to your reception.

Here are some ways to incorporate the game theme in to your wedding reception.

Jenga Guest Book – What a creative way to capture the well wishes from your wedding guests. Have guests sign a piece from a Jenga game. Each time you play the game, you will be reminded of the special people in your lives.

Monopoly Table Cards –Style Me Pretty shows a couple who used cards modeled after Monopoly properties to guide wedding guests to their seats.

Scrabble Tile Table Numbers – Do you love Scrabble? Play Words with Friends obsessively? Use large scrabble table numbers. Something Turquoise provides letter templates and DIY instructions for you.

Playing Cards Favors – Give guests a gift that will get them playing games, too. These playing cards come in a plastic box with a sticker to personalize the favor.

Show your playful and competitive spirit by having a game theme reception.

What is your favorite board game? How could you integrate it in to your wedding?
