More Alternatives to the Traditional Guest Book

Guest books are the traditional way to keep track of who attends your wedding, but what if you want to go a different route? The good news is there are a multitude of alternatives for your wedding. Below are just a few ideas to get you started.

Quilt – Provide a permanent maker or fabric marker for guests to sign a quilt. Guests can sign either an already made quilt or blocks of fabric to later be assembled. A quilt is a unique and functional way to have guests provide well wishes.

Rocks – For a rustic or outdoor themed wedding, why not try rocks? Later you can store the rocks in a large glass vessel and display it in your home. 

Canvas Photo – Have a favorite engagement photo printed on a wrapped canvas. Guest can sign on the image background. While black marker may be an obvious choice, try supplying pens with colors contrasting with the background for best results.

Photo Frame – If you like the photo idea, another alternative is a photo frame. This guest book frame has space on the mat for guest to sign their names.
