Wedding Ideas: Decorating with Floating Candles


Nothing says romance like the flicker of a candle. Floating candles exude a soft glow that will make any wedding ceremony or reception feel dreamy. Here are a few ideas for how to incorporate floating candles into your wedding.


Mason Jar Centerpieces – While these mason jars with a floating candle centerpieces are extremely simple, their effect is anything but. For a more colorful variation, try adding marbles or candles that match your theme. Or for a natural look try lining the bottom of the jar with river rocks. 

Floating Candles in a Bucket Decorations – If your wedding will be outside, wouldn’t the path to the altar look fantastic lined with these buckets? Or for an outdoor reception, these flower and candle filled buckets would look lovely scattered around the perimeter.  

Memorial Candle – This memorial candle has the saying “Forever in our Hearts Forever in our Lives” engraved on the container. It is a sweet way to remember a special loved one on your wedding day.
