Winter Wedding Receptions

Many brides often overlook winter for weddings, but having your wedding this time of year can be just as romantic and the event can be absolutely beautiful.

Read on for some suggestions for a winter wonderland wedding reception.

Pine Cone Place Card – Pine cones can easily be transformed in to place cards for your guests.  For a formal wedding, print the names in a script font on heavy paper. For a more casual wedding, you can hand write the place cards.

Indoor Votive Branches Centerpiece – You’ve seen the summer time votive lanterns for outdoor weddings. But why not use this idea for an indoor wedding? Use large branches and hanging votive candles for a simple yet elegant winter wedding centerpiece. Try placing the container on a mirror to reflect the candlelight.

Candles – Large masses of candles ooze romance, especially when it is dark and cold outside. Group candles together for impact. Scatter groupings of candles around the reception venue to create a cozy atmosphere. You can even use just candles for the center of the tables and have a stunning effect.

Tea Favor – Send your guests home with a bit of winter warmth with tea favors. Tea Winter Wedding favors have a lovely winter scene on the package and can be personalized.

Use the cold and dark of winter to your advantage for your wedding. Make your wedding reception a romantic event by using the natural elements of winter and soft candlelight.

Would you consider having a winter wedding?
