As a bride, you will be rushing around getting photographed,
making your entrance and signing your marriage license. You won’t have time to
personally escort each guest to their table. That’s where table numbers and
seating charts come in to play. Below are some ideas for creative ways to guide
your guests to their seats at your reception.
Wood
Slices – Eat Drink Chic shows you how to transform wood slice coasters into
fabulous rustic table numbers. There is even a free download of a nature
inspired number set for you to download to create the table numbers.
Frames
– Using frames is a classic way to mark the tables, especially for a more
formal wedding. But even with this traditional look you can still have a little
bit of fun. Rather that numbers, why not use a theme for each table? As seen in
this barn wedding, you can use favorite song lyrics. Other ideas include favorite travel spots or favorite books.
The options are endless.
Wine bottles – If you plan to have wine on the tables, create custom labels for the bottles to include the able numbers, as seen here
by Martha Stewart.
Embroidery
hoop numbers – Feeling creative? These embroidery hoop table numbers are
lovely. If you don’t sew or don’t want to spend the time stitching, try using
an iron on transfer or other technique to get the look without the time
investment.
After signing the guest book, finding their seat is the next
thing your guests will do at the reception. Your table numbers will help set
the tone for the reception, so make it unique and memorable.
